My Weekend Summary – Juangs2015

Hey, Everyone! Juangs2015 here!!

So this weekend at Governor’s School was very eventful and very tiring. On Saturday, we went skating (well our group did), and I was terrible. I was better than before, since I was able to get around the rink more than 10 times without falling, but by my second round, I was able to get around, but fell pathetically. Though I was terrible, my friends encouraged me to continue. My wrist hurt after that. I drove a bumper car with my friends and drove my first Go Kart as well, though I believed I would practically break all the rules since I always believed I was a bad driver since I could never drive a car even in a game. It was an interesting experience and I didn’t bump into anything.

On Sunday, we went canoeing. It was my first time and I sat in the princess seat the whole entire time. I kind of feel bad since I never exactly helped my team except paddle through the water while they had to get out into the water to push it off the rocks. There was a lot of nature and I saw my first real life turtle…mating. So that was interesting, but I was able to get out of my comfort zone. My arm is sore though from paddling even though the my team was mostly during all the work.

The weekend was good at least as I didn’t get hurt(if you don’t count fall on my but and knees so many times skating), but I was with my friends so it wasn’t a minus, but a plus.

Well I done for now.

Let’s talk about Ulzzangs (This is school homework about blog design and construction)

Hey, it’s Juangs2015!

Today, I would like to talk about Ulzzangs.

If you don’t know what they are, Ulzzangs is translated as “Best face” in Korean. They are people with above average looks (sometimes with the use of Photoshop) and take pictures and post them online. Some of these people even become celebrities by their looks.

So let’s talk about them. I known about Ulzzangs and to be honest, I want to be one. Of course, I need to lose a bit of weight and better my looks a bit. Ulzzangs strive to look like a human doll really. No, it’s true. Some would go under the knife to perfect their looks as recreating their eyes to look better and losing a bit of weight. Though I would too as well if I wanted immediate results, but I’m not that desperate. Though, it could also e because of society. In Japan, they strive to be skinny. Most of their food they eat are quite small servings and healthier. And since they walk to their destinations, they are constantly losing weight, unlike us in the United states where its al large servings and we barely walk to our destinations either because were lazy or because it’s too far. Though it might not be this.

Why I decided to talk about Ulzzangs is I want to see if my knowledge of them may grow from I know about them, which is limited. For this, I’ll use some of other people’s blogs to do my research of Ulzzangs and try to get a better understanding of them. I will also talk about the quality of the blogs so if you want to read them, you can go to the blogs as well using the links that should be at the bottom of this post.

OK, so here’s our first blog by Kim Style. On her blog, she shows how an Ulzzang should look like and how to get the “Ulzzang” look. This blog is very cute in structure as it has a nice background and complements the photos that she has posted on the blog. Some of the text are in Korean, but most of everything else are in English(that’s a relief) She has a side bar dedicated to popular posts that people have read and consists of tutorials and other information. If you go to the bottom of the page, she has a bar that shows what are incoming to her next posts in the future. She has skincare, make-up, and circle lens reviews as well. If you want to look more like an Ulzzang, this is a good website to look for.

Website: Ulzzang make-up Tips: natural style

For those of you who want to be an Ulzzang (Me as well), there’s this blog that you can check out. It’s created by Ms. Rhea’s and it shows the things used to create the Ulzzang “best face”. The blog is easy to read and has good pictures that are clear and able to understand what is said in the text. She has easy to see links (in pink), but a bit to small text font. I would still recommend it though if your looking for some informative makeup tutorials.

For those of you who want to learn more about the circle lens used to make your eyes bigger(and more doll like) then go to this blog. Created by KeiKei, she shows you how to apply the circle lens and how to get a doll like look. The blog itself cute as it has a flowery background. The text itself is a salmon color, but it is easy to read with the white background. This blog is mostly made-up of pictures showing her tutorial. There are some Korean text in the blog, but most of it is English. Though her contact (by email) is a bit too small and hard to read, but you can still get in contact with her via Facebook and Instagram. If you need circle lens help, I recommend going to her.

A good blog I know is Wengie. She’s very good and gives ideas for diet, make-up tutorials, lifestyles, everything! I would personally recommend her if you want to go on a diet, as she has a blog about an ulzzang diet. Her website is easy to read and she has video tutorials from her YouTube channel that she posts for convenience. She has contact info and also has info about her. The website is easy to read and not hard to understand. I surely recommend it.

Here is my last blog review. This blog is created by Hime Yuki-chan. Her blog is quite cute and is mostly made up of video tutorials. The blog I’m on and will put a link too, is a hair tutorial (make-up, etc) on how to do it like an Ulzzang. Her head title is quite large and easy to read, but the rest may be a bit hard to read since its a bit small and not the type of font were used too, but if you want the best tutorials by video then this is the blog for you.

About me – Juangs2015

Whoa, my first blog, SCHWEET!! Hey! Since I’m new Ill be a bit slow, but I’m Juangs2015 and It is nice to meet you. I’m interested in many things technology like and other things. I’m very interested in manga and anime, I even want to create a manga(a short one for fun), since I have many good ideas for stories. I’m good at drawing manga characters and I want to try to get better(I may add on a picture another time on my blog:)). I’m still learning how to draw backgrounds, but it shouldn’t be too long now. I’m also trying to learn Japanese, but it’s very hard (kanji wise), but it’s trying to fit time in to actually practice it. Bummer! But if you contact me, we could study together, thus learning more Japanese. I’m currently at NDGS and it is fun. I met another anime fanatic like me and we talk about anime and such. AMAZING or what!!?! NDGS is a program where you stay at NDSU (they host it) and learn the program that you had signed up for during registration. The food here is amazing and if you ever go here for college, try the tater tot casserole, It’s to DIE for. Literally! So….manga and anime. I luv manga and anime. Luv it to death. I’ve watched lots of anime like Ouran High School Host Club, Soul Eater(my favorite), Black Butler, Princess Tutu(I love the background and the music), Attack on Titan(got to love it, watched it to the end).

Well, that’s it for the day, but I will be back next time.

Sincerely and luv, Juangs2015
